Android has been is plenty of devices and household appliances by now, like a Android washer. This microwave is no different. Made by Touch Revolution, the same people who made the Android desk phones, this microwave is an additional $200 on top your standard cost for a microwave. Whatever the case, it really stands out. The NIM1000 module is what really makes this work, making it easier to add touch screen interfaces to everyday appliances. And just like every other Touch Revolution device we’ve covered, it’s a reference design, so you probably will see the same device sometime later with a different name.

Think of the NIMble as nearly the same as the Nimble, made by the same company – Touch Revolution. Only this time, the NIMble will be sold to consumers for $300 later this year. It’s also a platform, just like the Nimble.The device is a touch screen desktop tablet and phone, and features a seven inch multi-touch screen. Touch Revolution also has made their own software for the tablet for home networking and entertainment. Currently released specs include a 624Mhz processor, SD expansion slot, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Look for the NIMble in September for $10 to $20 per month contract or without.
