Police usually do notice people who drag Coke machines on the back of their pickup truck. Unless if you want the coke or money (I’ll assume the latter), this is literally pointless theft. The suspect has been charged with theft and vandalism and is evading arrest.

I sometimes question the smartness of people – like thinking that a MacBook Pro at Panera Bread “would have to belong to the store”, or stealing a whopping 2,200 game rentals. The latter is what one postal worker actually did. After he stole the games, he sold them at a local GameStop store. He has 12-18 months in jail time waiting upon him as well as going on job search sites to look for a new job. Maybe the study was right, saying the US is home to some of the smartest – and stupidest people on the planet.
