Boxee has finally confirmed that the Boxee Box will carry the Tegra 2 platform. There have been rumors before, but no official word. The Boxee Box will also have 802.11n WiFi, sans a hard drive. Consumers will be able to connect their own storage devices to the Box. It also lacks an IR receiver, meaning no universal remotes, but allows RF for a full QWERTY experience. What’s more, you currently download the official Boxee Beta from the site for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with a Apple TV version eventually coming.
