27″ iMacs get a fix, others get an iTunes update

Submitted by Sina Hamedian on Monday, 1 February 2010Comments

Those 27″ failing iMacs just got an update today that is supposedly supposed to fix the screen flickering that have plagued a majority of the users. Apple has even gone as far as to stop production of the iMacs while a fix is to be found. This follows another update that was supposed to fix screen flickering, but didn’t. So what’s new? This one is supposed to work.

In addition, there’s a iTunes update which makes sure that iTunes actually remembers your password when you told it to. The update also fixes a bunch of other sync and performance related issues, like recognizing your iPod when you connect it. In any light, both updates welcome several fixes to both the iMac and iTunes and can be downloaded right now.
