We had screenshots, confirmation from databases, and even a T-Mobile underpaid worker saying it was going to come to T-Mobile USA, but now we have official confirmation of this. During the Ballmer CES keynote, which we liveblogged, Ballmer introduced a HP tablet, which is in prototype and runs Windows 7. He showed off the device running the Kindle application for Windows, with multi-touch, and it was playing Frogger. And here we go – another tablet, only this time by Sony. Announced just a few minutes ago, the seven inch tablet can do a lot of stuff. It can even run Chumby apps. There are currently over 1,000 of those apps, and along with those, the tablet will include Sony Music and Sony Pictures, works as an alarm clock, and ships in April for $199.
