iPhone icon pillows!

5:04 am in Humor by Sina Hamedian

I’ve seen plenty of pillows, and a USB pet rock in recent days, but did it seriously take almost 3 years since the announcement of the first iPhone to make these pillows? Well, at least the wait is over.

Windows 7 Family Pack is no more

3:42 am in Windows by Sina Hamedian

Remember seeing the box on top in stores? Well, yes, and it was a great deal. $150 got you three copies of Windows 7 Home Premium. Also, something tells me that along with egg nog, people want to score this copy. Well, too bad for them. Microsoft has decided to pull the plug on the popular copy since it was a “limited edition”. Your local store should have plenty of copies in stock still, and with eBay, Amazon, and other online retailers, making the sprint to buy it now shouldn’t be a problem.

Apple buys Lala

2:17 am in Other Stuff by Sina Hamedian

This shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone keeping an eye on Apple, but the “final agreements” being made between Apple and Lala were true. The Wall Street Journal and NY Times have confirmed that Apple has closed agreements with Lala and paid for the purchase, possibly for less than 50 cents on the dollar. No one knows what exactly the purchase is for (presumably iTunes in the cloud). I personally don’t care much unless if its paid (or free) music streaming service to compete with the Zune Pass, which it will probably will be.
